FAQs

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please let us know by November 30th, 2025 whether you’ll be joining us. We’re so excited to celebrate with you and want to make sure everything is just right. Plus that gives us time to plan, panic a little, and make sure we’ve got enough wine. Of course, we completely understand that sometimes it’s not possible to RSVP by then, just let us know if that’s the case, and we’ll work it out.

Can I bring a date?

You know, if your invite comes with you and your partner’s name on it, then yes! If not, we’d really love for this to be a more intimate gathering. We promise you’ll make friends or at least get enough cava to forget you came alone. But of course, we’re always happy to have a conversation about it, so just let us know.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Children are absolutely welcome. There will be activities throughout the day to keep them entertained, and during the ceremony, we’ll provide a babysitting service on site so everyone can enjoy the moment fully.

Are dogs welcome?

As much as we would have loved to include our furry friends, the venue unfortunately does not allow dogs.

What will the weather be like?

Late May near Barcelona is typically warm and sunny, with average highs around 26°C. We recommend light, breathable clothing and maybe a light layer for the evening breeze.

I have pollen allergies, anything I should know?

Yes. May in the Catalan countryside means flowers in bloom… and pollen in the air. If you're prone to seasonal allergies, we recommend packing some antihistamines. We’ll also have a small stash on hand at the venue just in case.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, both the ceremony and reception locations are accessible. If you have specific needs or questions, feel free to reach out to our wedding planners.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

All main events will take place outdoors, surrounded by nature (and hopefully sunshine!). We suggest shoes suitable for grass and countryside terrain. Of course, if the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll have a plan B in place.

Whom should I call with questions?

Our wonderful wedding planners are here to help on the day, otherwise, feel free to reach out to our wedding party.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will ensure that there are options for everyone to enjoy.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking, mingling, and getting settled in. We want to start promptly, and yes, we’re counting on our Dutch guests’ legendary punctuality while giving our Spanish friends a little leeway.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking near the entrance of the venue.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Yes, we do! You can take a look at our Wedding Theme & Colorspage for a little inspiration, but essentially it’s all about Spanish spring magic. Relaxed and joyful moments under the sun.

What should I wear?

Each event will have a slightly different dress code. Please visit the Schedule and our Wedding Theme & Colors page on our site for details so you can come dressed comfortably and appropriately for each part of the celebration.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

White is reserved for the bride 🤍 We do have an overall wedding theme and vibe, so feel free to have fun with it! Think:
✨ Miami/Cuban vibes
🌴 Mediterranean summer
🍊 Colorful patterns
☀️ Breezy, elegant, fun, and vibrant

Soft, summery tones and playful colors are very welcome. We’d recommend avoiding anything super neon, as well as black, very dark tones, and orange or full suit cream/beige so our bridal party can shine.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony itself. It will be an unplugged moment. We’ve hired talented photographers to capture it all so you can be present. Feel free to take photos during cocktail hour and the rest of the celebration.

Is there a gift registry?

Your presence and the effort of traveling to celebrate with us is the biggest gift we could ask for! Truly. That said, if you still feel called to contribute something: Registry.

Will there be any activities happening that I need to know about?

Yes! The venue and surrounding area offer plenty to do from nature walks to local gems. Head to our Activities page for ideas if you're planning to make a weekend of it.

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Take a look at our Travel & Stay page. We’ve listed several options close to the venue, with something for everyone. Whether you’re coming as a couple or part of a group, you’ll find cozy spots to rest and recharge nearby.

Is there WIFI at the venue?

Yes! You’ll get the access closer to the date. But we do hope you’ll spend more time dancing than scrolling.

How can I help the couple have the best time during their wedding day?

Be present, be joyful, and come as your full, beautiful self. We are pouring a lot of love into creating this day, and the best gift you can give us is to relax, connect with each other, dance a little (or a lot), and just enjoy it with us.
